After gaining previous professional experience at Bernard Mallat Architects and Nabil Gholam Architects, Laila started her career in Beirut, where she worked with Selim V Koder to develop high-end residential projects in Abu Dhabi and the UAE

In 2014 she graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Beirut, and minors in both Studio Art and Art History. During her academic years, she participated in the organizational committee of the Talk20 Beirut series, and helped initiate the Architecture Student Society.

Laila gravitates toward creating spaces that feel detailed and meaningful, and takes inspiration from both classical and contemporary art.

Her approach is to design spaces that are timeless, site specific and relate positively with their context, combining spatial qualities that are functional and tell a story
